CHERRY AND BEETROOT CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

Ingredients

 

100G Sliced Sour Freeze Dried Cherries

140g cooked and peeled beetroot

175g ground almonds

30g Cocoa powder or Cacao Powder

45g Honey

50g Rolled Oats or Protein Powder

2 tsp vanilla extract

4 Eggs

 

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C/gas4

 

  1. Place all ingredients except the cherry in a food processor and blitz

 

  1. Stir in the cherry pieces

 

  1. Tip into a lined brownie tin (about 28cm x 15cm)

 

  1. Remove the brownie from the oven and leave to cool slightly before cutting into squares and taking the first bite

Serving Suggestion – a healthier version of a chocolate brownie with all the goodness.  If you like Beetroot you will love this.
