Three Cheese Sauce
Ingredients
- 450 ml double cream
- 100g butter
- 40g Freeze Dried Red Leicester Cheese
- 40g Freeze Dried Cheddar Cheese
- 40g Freeze Dried Mozzarella Cheese
Method
- In a medium saucepan combine cream and butter.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently until butter melts.
- Gradually stir in cheeses.
- Reduce heat to low, and continue to stir just until all cheese is melted.
- Serve immediately, sauce will thicken upon standing.
- Ideal to use to make your Macaroni Cheese or Cauliflower Cheese; In an ovenproof dish pour the sauce over your cooked macaroni pasta or cauliflower, sprinkle with a bit more cheese and grill until it is bubbling and browned.
